Basic Rules
1. Respect your fellow players.
We're all here to have fun, and it's heard to do that when we're at each other's throats. Play by the golden rule, and treat others the same way that you would like to be treated. Feel free to bring any disputes you may have to the mods; we'll do our best to mediate.
2. No god-modding or power gaming.
No character is all-powerful, all-knowing, or unbeatable. Likewise, no killing or maiming another player's character without receiving their permission prior to doing so, and just because you know something OOC, it does not mean your character now knows it IC. Be reasonable and use your best judgement. Any issues in this regard may be brought to the mods for mediation.
3. Basic grammar and spelling is a must.
No one is expecting perfection, but this is an intermediate-advanced roleplay - please make at least the effort.
4. No Smut.
There isn't an overall rating on the forum at this time, but we'd like to keep the ball rolling on plots, not porn. Fade to black just as things start to get really spicy, if you must. If you and your rp partner would like to take things farther after that, then please be so kind as to find somewhere a little more private to do so.
5. Posts must be at least 100 words.
Please give your fellow players something to work with in their responses!
All rules are subject to change as the need arises. Any changes will be announced on the board and in the shoutbox. Enforcement of the rules will operate on a three strikes model.
Activity
Activity checks will take place at the end of each month. Less than four posts over the course of a single month will be considered inactive, and you will receive an inactivity warning. Should you fail to meet the requirement for the following month, your characters will be marked as inactive and made available for new applicants. Reapplication will be allowed after a 30 day period. Multiple posts in a single thread do count towards your activity check, as long as they were made within the same month as the check. Please try not to front load or back load your activity and post throughout the whole month.
All players who require a hiatus must announce their hiatus prior to activity check to be exempt from the activity check requirements.
Character Limit
Players are allowed to take more than one character. As long as Activity can be met for all characters, players can take up to five characters.
Applying
Please register and set your display name to your character's first and last name (where applicable).
i.e.:Afterwards, go ahead and fill out the application. All unfinished, in-progress, or pending applications should be posted on the Character Workshop board with "WIP" in the title. You will have two weeks to finish your application once it goes up. When you are finished, remove the WIP and PM the Admin or a mod. We will get back to you in about twenty-four hours.

Applications must be completed within two weeks. If you need more time, please contact the Admin or a mod. All applications remaining past the two week mark with no contact will be removed. In-progress applications can be challenged.
